Hayley Wickenheiser shares her journey with Cold Lake and Bonnyville High School Students

In keeping with Osum’s commitment to supporting and inspiring the next generation of scientists and leaders, we invited Olympian, advocate and medical school student Hayley Wickenheiser to speak (virtually) with Cold Lake and Bonnyville high school students on November 27, 2020.

One of the best female hockey players in the world, Hayley has followed her dreams through sports, advocacy, science and medical school. From hockey pads to hospital scrubs – and everything in between – Hayley is an impressive example of what can be achieved when you never give up.

Speaking about her experiences at the Olympics, the science of hockey and her work with Conquer COVID-19, Hayley inspired teachers and students alike to never give up on their dreams and the impact they can have on the world.
