Osum’s Response to COVID-19

At Osum, health and safety are our top priority.

We are in the midst of a very serious public health situation and it is our social responsibility to do what we can to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus. During these challenging times, we are following the lead of public health officials at every level to ensure our organization responds in a way that prioritizes the safety of our employees and the broader community.

We are following government guidelines and have implemented internal measures at Osum including those that address preventative hygiene, social distancing, self-monitoring and travel. Osum’s team of professionals has activated our emergency response plan and formed a COVID-19 Preparedness and Response team. At this time, there have been no impacts to production or people and we continue to take necessary actions to protect our team and to mitigate risks to our business continuity.

While the recent rapid drop in oil prices has brought additional stress onto energy producers, Osum is well positioned and remains financially resilient. Over the last few years, we have made significant strides to grow production and improve our cost structure, reduce and extend our debt, and focus our business. This positions us to maintain the safe and reliable operation of our business through these events.

These are uncertain times but we are all in this together and we are encouraged by the care being demonstrated by our team members and those in the greater community.

Stay safe.

Steve Spence, President and CEO
